When mowing, raise the lawn mower blade to at least three inches or to its highest level. A higher cut encourages grass roots to grow deeper, shades the root system and holds soil moisture better than a closely-clipped lawn.

How can I reduce evaporation of my pool water?
Summer sun can evaporate up to 20% of your precious water! To avoid unnecessary water wastage, be sure to use a pool cover, particularly during the hot summer months.
Do new seedlings need the same amount of water as fresh turf?
No! When watering new seedlings be sure to use a fine spray of water for a short period of time, however new turf requires complete saturation through consistent heavy flow of water.
